About Us Briefly
Plant Physiology Laboratory of the LIH was founded on April 16, 1988. Prof. Habil. Dr. Pavelas Duchovskis, who had been a leader since establishing of the lab, aimed for creation of a modern scientific basis and current research topics. The laboratory facilities include a "phythotron" complex with 10 climate chambers, experimental greenhouses and a vegetation platform. Progressive diode lighting prototypes are installed in the phythotron and greenhouses. The laboratory staff team is young and knowledge-seeking; currently researches are carried out by 5 scientists, 5 PhD students and 2 analysts.
Main research fields:
The most important scientific projects of the last decade
Equipment, analytical capabilities:
The laboratory is equipped with modern equipment, operated by
skilled analysts. We expect that our technical capacities will
develop continually. We perform a qualitative and quantitative determination
using the laboratory validated analytical methodologies.
