The main activity:
Investigations of fruit, berry and vegetable quality, optimization of their storage and methods of processing, development of biologically valuable products, using the bio-variety of orchard and garden plants.

Themes of investigations:
Biochemical composition of the most important and rare orchard and garden plants and biologically active substances are investigated in order to select the most valuable cultivars.
Chemical and technological properties of spicery plants are investigated in order to expand the use and export of the local spices.
The optimal conditions of the storage of various orchard and garden plant production are established.
The methods of investigation of plant chemical composition are improved; data bank of chemical composition is accumulated. |
